How to Use Solid Dish Soap
Place soap on a dish or counter near your sink
Use a soap dish, mug, or coaster to catch excess water. You can also wet the bottom of the soap and stick it to your sink or counter in a place that drains easily.
Wet a sponge or brush and rub over soap to lather
Get a sponge, dish brush, or clean cloth wet and rub it over the top of the dish soap. Be sure to work up a good lather before applying to dishes so soap can wash away fully.
Rub your soapy sponge or brush on dirty dishes, then hand wash
Scrub your dirty dishes with the soapy sponge, brush, or cloth. You may need to scrub harder than you would with liquid soap. To soak extra dirty dishes, just run the dish soap under running water.

Our non-toxic dish soap is MADE SAFE Certified, meaning it meets the strictest ingredient screening requirement in the industry. This vegan dish soap is made from coconut- and sunflower-based soap and is available unscented or scented with organic lemon essential oil. It is synthetic fragrance-free, preservative-free, dye-free, and palm oil-free.
Sodium Cocoate Sodium cocoate is the chemical name of organic coconut oil that is saponified, or ‘made into soap’. It’s the chemical that grabs onto both dirt and water to do the cleaning. Sodium Sunflowerate Sodium sunflowerate is the chemical name of organic sunflower oil that is saponified, or ‘made into soap’. It’s the chemical that grabs onto both dirt and water to do the cleaning. Cocos Nucifera Oil Organic cocos nucifera, or organic coconut oil, is left in the soap after conversion to sodium cocoate. This is because we use sodium hydroxide, or lye, in the conversion process, and leaving excess oil ensures there is no remaining lye in the finished product. Our castile soap has a small amount of excess oil that gives it a soft, moisturizing feel and lathering quality. Helianthus Annuus Oil Helianthus annuus oil, or organic sunflower oil, is left in the soap after conversion to sodium sunflowerate. This is because we use sodium hydroxide, or lye, in the conversion process, and leaving excess oil ensures there is no remaining lye in the finished product. Our castile soap has a small amount of excess oil that gives it a soft, moisturizing feel and lathering quality. Glycerin Glycerin is chemically a type of alcohol and is naturally created when the oil is converted into soap. Glycerin is known for skin-softening abilities and is an effective solvent, meaning it can dissolve substances such as stains and dirt. We do not add any additional glycerin to our soap. 100% of the glycerin present is a byproduct of the soapmaking process, vegan, and cruelty-free. Citrus Medica Limonum Peel Oil Organic citrus medica limonum peel oil, or organic lemon essential oil, is a scented oil derived from lemon fruit. It is a natural, plant-based alternative to synthetic fragrance blends and adds a zesty, citrus scent to our dish soap. Used in Lemon scent.
