Why do I need a separate detergent for my furbaby?

Pet skin is up to 10x thinner than our own, meaning human detergent was not formulated for specific pet soils like urine, poo, blood, and vomit, and might not be safe for them. PetTergent is pet-safe, and was formulated for the soils mentioned.

How much should I use?

Thanks to its 25% more concentrated formulation, for regular loads, use 1-2oz of PetTergent, for larger loads, use 2oz or more of PetTergent. Use more or less depending on the level of soil and odor.

Can I use this as an additive?

PetTergent is a laundry detergent for pets and will wash your furbaby’s laundry without the need for other additives or boosters.

Is it safe for both HE and standard washers?

PetTergent is safe to use for both High Efficiency and Standard washing machines.

Can I wash human laundry with it?

While PetTergent is safe for all laundry, it is targeted specifically toward pet stains and odors like blood, urine, poo, and ‘that dog smell’. That being said, washable furniture, blankets, or human clothing can also benefit from PetTergent.
